Here for your consideration is a fabulous, antique Victorian, 1885, ornate sterling silver, oval hinged, cuff bracelet/bangle with clip and push clasp, oblong panelled, engine turned workmanship, chased and embossed floral decoration, complete with modern display/presentation box.

A truly stunning piece of workmanship stamped with the silversmiths initials J.F for James Fenton & Co with lion passant, Birmingham anchor assay mark and the gothic date letter \'l\' for 1885.

Considering thissilver cuff bracelet/bangle is 132 years old it\'s in good condition with no splits or damage. It does have some internal age related patina, commensurate with age, but nothing unusual.The silver scroll engraving foliage work in this Victorian cuff bracelet/bangle is delightful.

First registered as silversmiths in July 1882 working from premises at Great Hampton Street, Birmingham. They specialised in badges, bowls, fob medals, fruit knives, goblets, napkin rings, pens, salts, spoons, thimbles, trophy cups, vinaigrettes, and bangles.
