This listing is for a Beautiful Antique Late Victorian/ Edwardian 18K Yellow GOLD Ring that is detailed with Old Mine Cut DIAMONDS and 5 Natural PEARLS.
This ring is in an antique BOX.

This item was recently purchased from an estate.

Signed: The ring has no makers marks or gold marks that I can locate.
The metal has been tested, and it tests to be Gold (about 18K Gold in purity).

The box is marked on the inside of the lid with

Dimensions: This ring measures about 1/2\" or so wide on your finger at the largest points.

Gemstones: This ring is detailed with Old Mine Cut DIAMONDS (tested) as well as 5 Natural PEARLS.

We measure the stones to calculate the approximate carat weight of the stones. (we DON\'T Remove stones from the setting -which ensures the integrity of the setting).
The diamond measurements and calculated carat weights are as follows.

2 Stones measure about 4.0mm in diameter each (about 0.25carats each) -totaling 0.50carats.
4 Stones measure about 3.5mm in diameter each (about 0.15carats each) -totaling about 0.60 carats.
4 Stones measure about 3.0mm in diameter each (about 0.10carats each) -totaling about 0.40 carats.
2 Stones measure about 3.2mm in diameter each (about 0.12 carats each) -totaling about 0.24 carats.
12 Stones measure about 1.8mm in diameter each (about 0.02carats each) -totaling about 0.24 carats.
4 Stones measure about 1.4mm in diameter each (about 0.01carats each) -totaling about 0.04 carats.

Therefore this ring has Approximately 2.02carats total weight of Diamonds on it.

These are Old Mine Cut Diamonds and though I am not a gemologist, if I were to grade these stones, I would say that they are about

VS-SI Clarity
G-H-I Color

These are very bright, White and sparkly Diamonds, Eye Clean.
there are a few inclusions in some of the stones, and some of the inclusions are tiny \'black\' specks.
There are a few naturals on these diamonds, (a natural is part of the original rough stone that is left on the cut diamond to maximize the overall carat weight of the stone.

There are 5 Natural Pearls on this ring.
One pearl is approximately 4.7mm in diameter
2 pearls are each approximately 4.4mm in diameter
2 Pearls are each approximately 3.1mm in diameter

*The pearls are NOT Round, they are irregular in size/shape.
these are natural pearls, and they are quite worn. -there is wear through nacre layers on these pearls, the smallest pearls show the most wear -These pearls vary in color as well-please see images.

Weight: 6.6 grams

Condition:
This ring is in vintage condition with signs of age/wear and use.

The Pearls are natural pearls, and all of the pearls have wear.
there is wear through nacre layers on these pearls, as well as some scratches, flakes, scuffs, and imperfections.
The smallest pearls have the most wear, and all of the pearls are irregular in size and shape.
the pearls vary in color as well -please see images to get a closer look at their condition.

The diamonds are in good vintage condition, with a few signs of age/wear.
there is one smaller diamond that has a chip on the crown. There are a couple of small naturals on these diamonds as well, (a natural is part of the original rough stone that is left on the cut stone to maximize the overall karat weight of the stone.

The gold seems to be in good estate condition with no large dents/major scratches that I can find.
There are some small scratches/tiny dings, dimples, wear and imperfections in some areas, as you expect to find on estate jewelry items.
The gold also has some patina, tarnish and discoloration in some areas as well, and could use a touch up polish in some areas (if desired).

The box has some scratches/scuffs, wear and imperfections in some areas.
There is some soiling, spotting, wear and discoloration on the box as well.

All in all, I would have to say that this item is in decent estate condition with some signs of age/wear and use.
