Antique 18th/19th Persian (present day Iran) Nagan Sword:

This short sword has an all steel construction and a serpentine shaped blade. The blade and hilt were both originally decorated with gold and silver koftgari, of which only traces remains. Additional support for the hilt/blade connection is provided by a steel pin that extends thru the hilt. Please note that the Nagan was worn thru the belt and does not normally have a scabbard. The name Nagan means female serpent. This sword is original, authentic and antique (morethan 100 years old). Guaranteed.
