Antique 18thc Meissen Porcelain Floral Cup & Saucer Porzellan Tasse German #3:
For sale is a cup and saucer made by Meissen in about 1750. Both pieces are hand painted with flowers still in the woodcut style but already influenced by the Deutsche Blumen style so right when the style was switching around 1750. There is also a flower painted on the inside bottom of the cup as well. Both pieces are in superb condition with some very fine kiln dust on the cup. The cup is 1.625 inch tall and 2.875 inches in diameter and has the number 17 impressed. The saucer is 1 inch tall and 4.75 inches in diameter and marked with an impressed 7. Both are marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark underneath - the mark on the cup is a bit hard to see but it is there. 18th century German Germany If you like my goodies have a look at my other sales for a lot more top maker pieces.
