Antique 1901 Ansonia Mantel Clock, Metal Case, French Or Rococo Sash, Item #598 For Sale

This beautiful 1901 Ansonia metal case mantel clock has a wonderful porcelain dial with roman numerals and visible escapement. The clock is extremely rare and is not identified in the Tran Duy Ly references. Dating is based on the hands, visible face design, metal casing, "Peasant" single strike brass works. The clock is an 8 day, half hour gong strike. It has its natural aged finish, comes with maker marked double key, and has no chips or cracks. This is a stunning collectors piece. (13" tall x 9" wide x 6" depth)
