To quote John Lennon....so THIS is Christmas. This is the final week of my Customer Appreciation Christmas Extravaganza Sale! It is a GRAND finale, indeed. Tonight is all about treasures, folk art, quilts, dolls, teddy bears.....a great big glorious THANK YOU for my best year ever. Couldn't have done it without you. For the last time in 2012....enjoy!

Meet Will. I am not sure who made this wonderful old guy, possibly Bing or Ideal, but I am in LOVE! He is a very handsome ...and a little vain, so he insisted on wearing his tie for the photos. He is a large straw stuffed mohair teddy bear with shoe button eyes, long feet, big ol' ears, and the largest hump ever! Twisted embroidery floss nose and paws. His name is Will after his dad. He came with a note that reads " This is a Teddy Bear my father had been given probably in 1905 when he was one year old. When Daddy was 85 and living in Quarryville Presbyterian home for five years with my mother he wanted to know this bear was in the closet of his room." Underneath and blacked out (but readable) is the owners name. Will has some flaws, his heels and paws have damage and loss. His right arm has a hole in the paw and has lost quite a bit of straw from years of being toted around by that arm. He also has wear and thininnig to his golden mohair, especially sparce on back. I am taken by his profile which is so charming with his long nose. Clean and odor free. Measures 17". Enjoy, and please take a look at my other offerings tonight!
