Antique 1913 Thanksgiving Post Card Pilgrim Lad Embraces Turkey ## For Sale
From our inventory of over 100,000 post cards, the cards we select for sale or sale are selected not for physical perfection of the postcard (although nearly every one of our cards is in good to very good condition), but for poignancy, beauty, quality of the artwork, historical significance, and/or for the feeling the card brings to our hearts. My main goal is to provide excellent service, from the time you make your offer until you receive your item. If there are questions along the way, please email us,

Here is how I grade my cards: If you are a repeat customer, you will know that I am a conservative grader of cards. I would rather have you be pleasantly surprised than disappointed when you receive your card(s). "Good" may mean lightly bumped or faintly creasedcorners, and/or light edge wear, and/or light soiling. "Good" can also mean the card is clean, with no apparent faults. Good is the highest rating Igive my cards. "Fair to Good" means corner wear, edge wear, soiling, and a slight tear or some faint creasing. "Fair" means corner wear, edge wear, soiling, and more than one tear orcrease. "Poor to fair" means corner wear, edge wear, soiling, and moderate to significant creasing. "Poor" is a quality that I seldom use. It means the card is right on the brink of being tossed in the trash, and is only offered for sale becausethe cardis unusual or unique in some way, and someone may need it for a collection until a 'better' one comes along. I never use "mint" as all my cards are used in some way, and even though they may look perfect, I can't vouch for how someone else will see the card. I sometimes will use "virtually no sign of wear" to indicate a card that looks unused, and is uncreased and squeaky clean.
