Antique Art Nouveau brass Owl letter holder up for sale. Fresh from a local estate in Boise, Idaho. The letter holder has the original brassfinish with one small spot of wear on the owl. It measures 5\" high, 7.5\" wide and 3\" deep. The number 6643 is cast on all 3 parts. This letter holder was part of a desk set made by H.L. Judd between 1910 and the 1930\'s. This item is solid weighs 1 lb. 12 ounces, and has no cracks and no repairs and has its original finish. The beauty is in the details, the owl is clutching pine boughs with finely castpine needles and pinecones. The stylized Art Nouveau border is gorgeous. Would make a fine addition to any antique desk, Art Nouveau décor, Arts and Crafts style office, or AntiqueOwl collection.
