Antique 1940's David White Stereo Realist Flash Rare F3.5 Camera Vintage Nice:
Up for sale is a very nice David White Stereo Realist Camera from the 1940's. It says Stereo Realist Flash on the two side lenses, not sure if this is indicative of a model type or not. All the knobs and levers work. The knobs on the left and right lens turn in tandem as they should. There is some film in the chamber as well, bonus! These cameras were used to take pictures for a stereoscopic viewer, so you could see them in 3D basically. That is why it has so many lenses. It is really a nice piece and would make an excellent addition to someones collection. It comes with a leather strap.
The camera measures 7" wide, 2.25" deep, and 2.5" tall. The front says Stereo Realist, then David White Co., Milwaukee WIS., USA. It weighs a whopping 1 LB 14.2 OZ. They don't make 'em like they used to!
Any questions just ask, thanks for looking!
