Antique 1960's Native American Sterling Silver Kingman Turquoise Heishe Bear Claw Necklace Necklace Size:The necklace measures 9 inches down on each side for a total of 19''. The claws then measure 1 and 3/4 inches long from the necklace! Necklace Style & Stone(s):The stones in the necklace are Kingman turquoise both raw and polished. Navajo Claw jewelry is the rarest of Navajo jewelry to get your hands on, it doesn't pop up often and when it does it sells for outrageous prices in old pawn shops. Beautiful and cool necklace! The claws are very very cool, completely hand crafted out of sterling silver. All 3 cabochons on the claws are in excellent condition with a smooth fine polish. These stones are inlaid nicely and hold tightly in place. The other Kingman turquoise are round graduated beads that form the Heishe necklace. These beads range from semi polished to rough and have texture of divots. No stones are damaged. Some seem like they are broken but they are not as this is part of the stone that the artists polished from. This necklace is in perfect condition. The clasp is a hook and eye type that holds and works well. Very easy to take on and off. This necklace can be worn either by a male or a female. This is a unique and stunning piece of jewelry! Once you hold this and wear it you will feel the qualitycraftsman'sship that went into it. It is durable and high quality.
