Antique 19C. Spanish Colonial Carved Wood Polychrome Painted Santos Figure 14"

Description :The Santosis holding a ball in one hand and wearing a crown. Carved of wood with nice detail throughout. He is standing on atwo tier base andretains much of it's originalpolychrome painted surface.

Size : Measures 14" tall by 5 1/2" wide by 3" deep.

Age : 18C. possibly earlier

Condition : Good condition with loss to one hand and pieces of the crown, you can see the facial features also have wear. There is some expected losses to the original paint. We do not see any restorations, paint touch ups, etc.
