Antique 19th C. American Pewter Coffee Pot By Roswell Gleason Marshall Field:
UP FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION:
Nineteenth Century (mid-1800's) pewter coffee or tea pot by Roswell Gleason (1822-1877), Dorchester, MA - handsome pot with fancy hollow cast handle and unique finial - bottom marked "GLEASON" - printed Marshall Field & Co sticker on bottom of pot with "1841" written in ink on it.
Measures 11" tall x 9-1/2" across, spout to handle. Base diameter is 4-3/4" and opening diameter is 4".
Pot is in good condition - all seams are intact but pot is not water-tight (leaking along bottom of handle) - minor issues/dents or dings on body - displays beautifully.
