Antique 19th C. Japanese Meiji Period Shibayama Crane & Willow Panel

This is avery fineMeiji periodJapanese shibayama inlaid panel. Depicting a weeping willow with falling leaves & a red cap crane.

CONDITION There is a smallish area of loss to the lacquer ground (top left) & one leaf is missing from the tree - this should be visible in the images. There is also a chip to the rear top leaft corner of the frame but only noticeable from the side - see image.

The overall condition is as you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners.
