Antique 19th C Pennsylvania Stoneware Striper Design 1 Gal Crock Excellent 10" For Sale
We are listing today for your consideration a lovely Antique 19th Century Pennsylvania Stoneware SaltglazedCobalt Blue Striper Design 1 Gallon Crock. This crock is in Excellent Condition with1 very minor surface crack that starts at the outside of the top rim and goes down the front to the 1st blue stripe. This could possibly have happened during the making of this crock. There are no chips, no other cracks, and or repairs. The crock is 100% structually sound, rings true, we guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the exceptional condition of this piece. There is as well areas on the bottom and the base where the glaze was completely missed, showing the red clay. The crock measures 10" tall x 5 3/4" at the mouth x 5 7/8" at the base and weighs approximately 5lb 10oz. The crock features a lovely free hand 3 stripe design on the front.
