Antique 19th C Stoneware Decorated West Troy Ny Pottery 1 1/2gal Jug Excellent For Sale
We are listing today for your consideration a lovely Antique 19th Century Stoneware Saltglazed Cobalt Blue Decorated West Troy NY Pottery 1 1/2 Gallon Jug. This jug is in Excellent Condition with one chip on the front below the left side of the decoration. There is a slight indent where the impressed 1 1/2 is. There are 2 very small pock marks from when the jug was made as well as slight staining. There are no other chips, cracks, and or repairs. We guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the exceptional condition of this jug. The jug is marked WEST TROY NY POTTERY impressed with slight cobalt blue, anda 1 1/2 impressedwith the 1/2 being backwards. The jug measures 12 1/4" tall x 8" wide x 2 1/4" at the mouth x 7 3/4" at the base and weighs approximately 6lb 15oz. The jug has a great applied handle and a wonderful scroll and floral center design in bright cobalt blue.
