I have for sale this outstanding antique salt glaze stoneware yellowware pottery butter crock with the original lid. This piece would date from the late 1800\'s - early 1900\'s. The crock remains in amazing condition for its age, with an old shallow glaze flake along the base edge, shown in the photo. It feels smooth, so could possibly have been done in the making. There are also some firing lines on the lid. Pieces like this are quite porous so such flaws were common. Otherwise the piece remains in excellent condition. Look over the photos to assess the condition, etc. Measures 9 1/4\" in diameter, & 4 1/4\" high. Wonderful display piece, highly collectible. Please contact me with any questions.
