Unusual Trousse Set - Knife & Pair Chopsticks

Set is made up of four pieces...

TWO CHOPSTICK: One is definately slimmer and more pointed than the other, both have a 1\" brass sleeve and round tip at one end. They measure about 9\" long. You can see a few little skin marks along the shafts of the chopsticks where someone pushed them into the sheath too far, nothing major, they are not broken or repaired, just have a few nicks.

ONE KNIFE: The blade is 4.625\" long, handle is 3.875\" long (1.25\" of the end is brass covered) The wood looks like Rosewood, but I cannot guarantee that. The blade is not super sharp, but under magnification, you can see short diagonal lines all along the blade that look like the original sharpening strokes. No cracks in the wood, blade is super tight, brass repousse tip is missing one of the tiny nails at the edge, but it is not loose at all. The blade is straight and the tip is unbroken.

ONE SHEATH: The sheath or holder measures 6.75\" long (without the little knob of the hanging loop included). The body of this holder is wood, but it is completely covered with repousse worked brass. The black metal in the center looks like the first covering over the wood, then the decorative brass covers that black metal everywhere except the middle (where you can see it). There is a brass wire type loop for hanging on a belt. The brass has a few bumps and dings, but nothing major, the whole sheath feels very tight and well put together. The thicker brass \"cap\" that covers the top, and has openings for the knife and chopsticks, is tacked solidly to the rest of the sheath at the front and back, but you can see there is ga on both sides. It is not at all loose, nor does it look repaired, so I believe it was simply made this way.

Measures about 10.25\" long when assembled. The designs are profuse, most look like flowers, leaves, bugs, ropes, and just non-sensical designs.
