Up for sale is a charming, antique--likely 19th century hand made blue and yellow pottery pitcher or ewer. It\'s 6.75\" tall and nearly 5\" in diameter at the rim (not counting the spout). The bottom is 5.75\" in diameter. As you can see in the photos, there are flakes to the glaze. Some are large but they aren\'t deep. It\'s a shabby chic looks but this piece is very sweet. There are no breaks or cracks. In my 3rd from last photo I noticed that it looks like there\'s a crack near the handle--there isn\'t--that\'s a light reflection. The inside of the pitcher is yellow glazed and in nice condition for its age. The outside of the blue glaze is accent in raised yellow dots. I purchased this at an estate sale.
