This is a large and lovely example of a mid 19th century Imari charger. The plate boasts scalloped edges, and a hand painted classic \"Imari\" design. The design is done in cobalt blue and rust red and features a jardiniere in its tondo, with an alternating pattern of fenced terraces and trefoil encased floral motifs in the outer rim. The back is also decorated with three stylized mountains shrouded in mist. The large size and stunning design makes this piece perfect for display as a very good condition.
