Antique 19thc Stoneware Decorated Pennsylvania 1 Gallon Crock Excellent 10 1/4" For Sale
We are listing today for your consideration a lovely Antique 19th Century Stoneware Saltglazed Cobalt Blue Swag Decorated 1 Gallon Crock. This crock is in Excellent Condition with2 very minor small shallow chips to the top outside rim and there is one faint black spider line that appeared to have happened during the making of this piece. It intersects a small hole that happened when the crock was fired. There are no other chips, cracks, and or repairs. There is some manufactured roughness a bit of uneveness to the shape,and minor staining. The crock is 100% structually sound, it rings true when you tap it, we guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the exceptional condition of this crock. The crock measures 10 1/4" tall x 6 1/4" at the mouth x 6" at the base and weighs approximately 5lb 14oz. A great 1 Gallon crock with heavy bright cobalt blue swag leaf design numbering 3 that borders the top half. We believe it is a Pennsylvania crock dating from the mid to late 1800's.
