Antique 19thc Stoneware Decorated Whites Utica Deer Hunt Butter Crock No 1 Rare For Sale
We are listing today for your consideration a lovely Antique late 19th Century Stoneware Saltglazed Decorated White's of UticaDeer Hunt Butter Crock No 1. This crock and lid are in Excellent Condition with the lid having one glaze chip to the ear of 1 deer. There are no other chips cracks, and or repairs with either the lid or the bottom. We guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the exceptional condition of this butter crock. The crock measures 3 7/8" tall with the lid, the body measures 3 3/8" tall x 6 3/8" at the mouth x 6 1/4" at the base, the lid measures 6 3/4" at the top x 5 1/4" the inside rim. The crock with lid weighs approximately 3lb 4oz. This great butter crock by White's of Utica New York dating from the 1890's features a wonderful raised design of 2 hunters with their trophy deer on the one side and 2 buck deers with full racks on the other side. Great detail to this piece, there ispresent some drippings of the light blue glaze on the bottom. A wonderful example of White's of Utica in the rare No. 1 size of the butter crock that would make a great addition to anyone's collection. If you have any questions please email.
