Early 19thC Tombstone board with one of the best teardrop hanging holes I've seen. Great hand cut shoulders as well. It measures approx 26.75" x 15" x 5/8" thick. Splits were secured at some point in time with a total of 6 wiggle nails; 4 on one side, 1 on the other and 1 on the bottom edge. This restoration was performed sometime circa 1930. Around the same time the board was retired from use and hooks were added to display items in the kitchen, probably cookie cutters. There's a total of 9 small screw holes where the hooks once were. See photos for details. Over all an outstanding early example with years of care and preservation. Likely New England or Pennsylvania origin. Any Q's fire away and thanks for looking
