Up for offers is this Antique 19thC or Earlier Chinese Carved Dragon & Phoenix Jadite Scroll Weight. This very fine jadite scroll weight was made in China during at least the 19thC but could be earlier. This piece is carved from one solid piece of 2 toned green jadite. The front of the scroll weight is carved with a standing dragon, a phoenix, and flowers. The back of the piece is carved with flowers and leaves. The quality of the jadite and the carving is excellent. The scroll weight measures just over4 3/4" in height, just under 2 3/4"in width, and just over 1/4" in depth. This piece is in great condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. The piece is a little dirty and could use a good cleaning. This Antique 19thC or Earlier Chinese Carved Dragon & Phoenix Jadite Scroll Weight will make a great addition to your collection.
