Up for sale comes this WONDERFUL, vintage bunny rabbit! He\'s a dapper fellow, dressed in his original clothing including his bowtie, jacket, shirt, and tuxedotrousers (complete with stripe down outside of leg!). Clothing is felt with exception of cotton shirt. Has one metal button in center of bow tie and another one (flatter shape) at bottom of his tuxedo coat.
He measures about 26\" tall, has glass eyes that have a large, pink center in clear glass. Nose and mouth are stitched in pink (see photo).
I collect antique dolls, though am not an expert on vintage/antique stuffed toys. I was told by someone who is this appears to be a Gund rabbit from the 1930s, though I cannot be 100% certain.
Feels like he\'s stuffed with straw or straw-like material.
His white fur could use a cleaning, unless that loved look is preferred. There are some spots/discoloration areas on his feet (shoes) and hands, and his clothes are tatty, especially the front of his jacket. The waist of his trousers is also tatty, a safety pin holds the shirt and waist of trousers together. Shape of shirt covers waistline of pants.
Back of one shoe has small hole (see photo), otherwise, aside from needing cleaning and the tatty condition of his 80-85 -year-old clothing, he\'s quite a stunner!
Comes from non-smoking home.
