This is a Keinzle German Box clock that runs and strikesbut is not in good working order. This is what I found: the striker strikes on the half and hour, but the striker on the hour \"wanders\" so clock hands shows 3 and it may strike 5 times. The movement appears to run accurately but as it approaches the top of the hour, it \"stalls\". It continues to run but the hand does not move.These are probablyeasy fixes, but not forme to attempt. I took apart face and oiled the works. The case has some damage as shown, There is a crack/separation above the door ant thereare chips on the corner and aseparation along the top whereit was probably dropped. A straight section is missing at the bottom.
The door has beveled glass inserts and the side panels are cloth covered. The face and bob ingood condition for age.The case is nice, dark and rich looking but overall clock has issues. Selling as is; did not come with key. Paypal accepted. Shipping by FedEx and Thanks for looking!
