Up for offer is a antique ACME smooth white stone ware Apothecary mortar with the original pestle. We got this set at an Estate Sale, but the exact age is not known. Please excuse the glares, white spots, and shadows. The mortar and pestle is in very good pre-owned used condition with No chips, cracks, nicks, repair, or hairlines. Both items have typical minor surface use wear and the pestle is missing most of its space filler, but the wooden handle is still attached to the stoneware. The mortar bowl measures approx. 4\" tall by 7\" wide across the top excluding pour spout by 4 1/2\" wide across the base - bottom is stamped; TRADE * ACME * MARK * 4. The pestle measures approx. 9 1/2\" long by 2 1/4\" wide - it is marked with a number 5. Folks, this a very good old ACME mortar and pestle and would go wonderful in apharmaceutical / drug store collection or home.

We ship by USPS Priority and Standard mail and shipping costs includes actual postage with tracking and insurance. Please know that USPS Standard mail can take 3-10 business days for delivery and sometimes a little longer if USPS has a delay, which we have No control over. We also ship by FedEx Ground Home Delivery for heavy items or box lots and yes, we love to combine and give great shipping discounts.
