Antique German Baby Character DollPERFECT cabinet size doll! Name/Type:Armand Marseille character baby, has a bisque head with blue rocker eyes, open mouth with teeth. This 10\" baby was probably made in the early 1900\'s.Size/Edition : 9.5-10\" tall, marked: Armand Marseille Germany, 390r, A410NClothes: This doll came with clothes that were just home made clothes or rags, pink nylon bloomers and a doll romper marked: 2 size Denton 28- which appears to be too large for this doll. All clothes have been washed but have condition issues and should not be considered when offerding.Eyes/Head : His bisque socket head is in good condition, with painted eye brows, lashes, lips and rosy cheeks. This little guy is a breather with a little row of teeth on the top however it is missing the red tongue backing. The head is open and the skull cap and wig are missing.I put a light to illuminate his head, and it appeared to be free of hair-line cracks or chips. His blue sleepy eyes work perfectly and his eyelids are a bit discolored. I encourage you to use your expertise to evaluate. Body/Limbs : His composition body is in average aged condition with typical flaws. There are normal paint discolorations and areas that show paint imperfections due to age and wear, dark marks on limbs, chipping and missing fingers and toes. All limbs are loosely strung.Please review all of the photos for full detail of any imperfections; and consider age when evaluating this doll.He is ready to be restored and dressed!This sale includes insurance Please ask all questions prior to offerding all sales are final :)
