Antique BronzedChalkware Lady Bust

This is a Beautifulold Turn of the Century French Art Nouveau style TerraCotta Lady Bustfeaturing what looks to be an old Bronzed Painted Finish that still Displays very well. This Estate Fresh Beauty is larger than Most that we have Sold& looks to be a Life Size Bust. She would be a Welcome addition to any Victorian parlor and from a Distance you can't even tell that she is Not Bronze. These Turn of the Century Lady Statuesare much harder to find than their Bronze counterparts because they were more easily broken and fewer survived over the years. This Gorgeous Lady is marked on the Side with her Title though I cannot make it out. (see pics) This old Girl is in Very Good Condition with a few light scuffs and wear to the paint around the edges but there are No significant Cracks to the TerraCotta Bust itself. There are a few very small and one very old Chip on the base that are hardly of concern. This old beauty was found in a Baltimore Estate along with a Signed Bust by Louis Carrier Belleuse that we will also be listing this week. This Beauty is Large & very heavy & would make an Impressive Statement in any Gallery. She Displays nicely, you may even want to consider giving her a Pedestal to herself!
