Up for sale is an antique African-American Man Tintype Photograph; with the remains of a "Painted Gold Chain." His attire looks to be post-Civil War to maybe 1880, & there is an envelope or letter extending from his right breast pocket.Measures 2 3/ inches by 3 5/8 inches. Old & stratched, just what to expect from an old tintype that may not have been stored as it should be; carefully! It was probably in a frame at one time, & it appears that it may have beenbent over, but not cracking the glaze.Please look at the photograph & ask any questions. The scan is not quite as good as the actual item. (I don't understand the raster lines...) Starting offer will be $6.95, with the winning buyer paying all shipping costs & a $1.00 handling fee.
