Antique American Brilliant Abp Cut Glass Pitcher With Unusual Teardrop Form, 8"h:
I purchased this pitcher from a home south of Boston. The pitcher is from the early 20th century and has a lot of detail to its cut pattern. The pitcher is 8” high, 5” in depth from front to back, and 10” long from handle to spout.
There are a few dings on the two teardrop shaped side panels (please use close-up option on photos to view them). There is also a chip to the third tooth up from the lowest drop on the left side of the spout. There are no cracks in the glass or at the top of the applied handle. I have added new photos which I hope will show the imperfections better. The chip on the tooth of the spout is on the outer edge and goes up and over the top of the tooth, taking a chip off the side. The sides have some imperfections on the top of a few points circling around the center button. The left side medallion has 5 chips/dings that I counted. Two are chips - one at 8 o'clock to the center button (approx. 1/4" long), and the other at the 7 o'clock position (about 3/16 " long). The right side has 7 rough spot or dings at the top of points around the button. Due to the detail on the piece I may have missed something, but I felt it with my fingers and looked at it with a loupe so I've done my best to describe the piece for you.
