Antique American Gem Toy Sewing Machine W/ Original Instructions For Sale
This early cast iron toy is an alternate American Gem design, without a belt drive. It is covered with beautiful daisy floral decals, which are in good condidtion. The stitch plate has the words, "PAT APD.FOR." There is some oxidation on the unenameled parts, but it is minor. Still has its needle and the original wooden handle. The base of the machine [minus the wheel and handle] measures 6 3/8 x 3 1/2 and the machine stands approximately 8" high.
Amazingly, the original instructions for this rare piece have survived and are included in the sale. The intructions are one piece of paper 6 3/4" x 4 1/2, folded in half to make four pages.
I am selling this piece for my brother. Please send me your questions BEFORE THE SALE ENDS! All sales are final and payments must be by PAYPAL. Enjoy!
