Up for sale is an antique American Southern New Orleans coin silver skewer for poultry by silversmith Adolph Himmell, New Orleans, Louisiana circa 1850. This poultry skewer is 7-1/4 inches long with its shell terminal ½ by 5/8 inches with a bifurcation running the length of the skewer. It is without bends, waviness, repairs, buffing, thinness or removals. There is no evidence of it ever having a monogram.
