Antique Ansonia Royal Bonn Romance Porcelain Mantle Clock Open Escapement Runs For Sale
Estate purchased. Stands 11" tall x 12 1/2" wide x 5 3/8" deep. The porcelain sea-foam blue Royal Bonn case has a manufacturer's flaw (crack) that can be seen in pic #4 & #5. No other chips or cracks were noted. Porcelain case does have an over-crazing (not uncommon to these clocks). No repairs noted. Beveled glass and wonderful dial fully marked. No chips or cracks to the glass or dial. Gold accents intact. Dial marked: "Manufactured by the Ansonia Clock Co. New York United States of America". Key included in sale. The key winds the works and chime, but does not fit the (fast-slow) adjustment above the 12 o'clock on the dial. Works marked: "Ansonia Clock Co. Patented June 14, 81 New York U.S.A." Clock has been running since purchased for the last 2 weeks. It has lost approx. 7-10 minutes over that time period. I have not serviced the clock and do not know when it was serviced last. The pendulum does have an adjustment for this (fast-slow), but I will leave this to the next owner. Clock will be carefully packed with pendulum wrapped separately. A video of this clock is located below. Unpacked weight is 10 1/2 lbs. Low starting price with . Shipping charges include full insurance. E-mail me with any questions.
