AntiqueHand Fabricated Art Deco Era 10K Day Night Earrings with approximately 2ctw round faceted Diamonds. Notice that the night sections,(lower segments), can be hooked onto the top earringsor taken off. Thus the top, or day earrings, can be worn by themselves. The French clipbacks function well.

Dimensions of each earring (when the bottom segmentishooked onto the top)is approximately: 1.25\"h x 1/2\"w x 1/4\"d. When worn alone, the top segments ofeach earring measures approximately 0.75\" height.

Weight of the pair of earrings:8 grams

The top (day) section of each earring contains 14 round faceted prong set diamonds,whichhaveapproximately 0.75ctw Diamonds, or 1.5ctw Diamonds in both of the top sections. The (night)bottom section of each earring contains 9 round faceted diamonds havingapproximately 0.25ctw Diamonds, or 0.5ctw diamonds in both lower segments. The entire pair of earrings contain approximately 2ctw Diamonds. These46 round faceted diamonds range from G-J in color, and range from VVS2 to SI2 in clarity.A couple of the diamonds have chips.

The earrings are in good antique condition. As expected, there are scratches in the gold metal commensurate with true age and gentle wear. A couple of the diamonds are chipped. One of the French clip backs extends further back than the other when open, but both backsfunction well to lock the earrings closed. The hooks attaching the night segments have been bent over time, so it is necessary to be careful when moving the bottom, night segments of the earrings on and off of the top day segments.
