This is a 1930s era early Electric Table Lamp or Light, with 2 Candelabra Lights in original condition, still working.It is an Estate find in need of rewiring, as it still has the original cloth covered wires. The lamp has no on/off switch.The flat end of the wall plug has no protective cover, showing exposed wires.This is however, an asset to the buyer, in that you can restore it, or get it restored, to your own personal liking, or taste.There are websites devoted to selling safe replica cloth covered wiring, wall plugs, on off switches, cardboard or plastic candle sleeves, bulbs, and shades, all of which can enhance the look of the light, and make it more safe to use.The Cast Iron has been painted with a bronze colored paint, and has a clear coating over it, which is mostly still intact.There are several small chips in the paint, and a few spots of rust present on the iron.The center rod which holds up a shade(not present) and the finial, unscrews nicely to allow for easier shipment.The Lamp or Light stands 20 1/4 inches high, 9 inches wide arm to arm, and has a 5 1/4 inch wide octagonal base.It weighs almost 4 pounds.
