This isa very fine and adorable antique Art Deco Chinese silver carved carnelian pendant beaded necklace. It features an extremely finely carved genuine and natural bezel-set oval shape carnelian pendant/clasp at the center depicting peaches. It is mounted on sterling silver base with glass seed pearls around. The necklace part is made of antique genuine and natural carnelian beads depicting Chinese \"sho\" symbol (for longevity) and crouching dragons. In between are genuine and natural apple green jadeite jade spacer beads. Hairline cracks are observed on the carnelian pendant clasp piece. The necklace is 16-3/4\" long. The carved carnelian pendant/clasp measures 4.7cm x 3.1cm (1-7/8\" x 1-3/16\"). 24 carved antique carnelian beads measure between 11mm to 13mm each. It weighs 68.5 grams.
