Offered for your offerding is one of the nicer Kodak folding cameras that I have had the honor to offer at sale. Research indicates that this camera was (likely) manufactured in 1934, 35, or 36, and is a KODAK Six-16. Equipped with a focusing Kodak lens, focus is accomplished by rotating front element. Lens is very good with no marks, mold, or separations, but displays some dirt between elements. Lens is mounted in a working KODON shutter, with T and B, 1/25, 1/50, and 1/100th settings, and fired from a release on front standard. Aperture is marked f32 through f11. Reflex viewfinder on front standard. Black and chrome, Art Deco style body is beautiful: NO scratches, NO dents, NO brassing. Leather (leatherette?) body covering over heavy, stamped steel body is very good, NO bumps. Leather hand strap and covered ruby glass intact. Camera is also equipped with pull out lever for leveling camera on table top. Bellows are dry, but pliable, but DO NOT appear light tight. Camera uses 616 film, image size 4 and 1/4 x 2 and 1/4 inches. Sorry, no 616 take up spool. Original case and carrying strap are in good condition; some scuffs and rubs. Also included is original owner/operator manual in fair, usable condition and a vintage correct KODAK outdoor exposure guide. This camera displays very nicely, and is for the discerning collector. Camera is sold as-is. This item is from a large photographic estate. My zip is 44147, and camera and packaging weighs approximately 2 pounds, so that you can approximate shipping to your location.
