Antique Arts & Crafts Slag Leaded Stained Glass Handel Tiffany Era Lamp - Nr For Sale
This is one of the most colorful and well-made lamps I have had in some time. With the selection of glass, very thin lead lines, small 1 5/8" opening in the top, and molded shade rest, I am attributing this lamp to Gorham. Its a wonderful looking lamp that just radiates color when it is lit. All of the glass in the entire shade is granite backed which really causes it to sparkle. There are blue, red, orange, white, yellow and pink flowers around the apron....every color is used! Its a nice sized table lamp, standing 20" tall with a 16 1/2" diameter shade. I see maybe two or three small hairlines in the shade, but otherwise it is practically mint. It has the nice rattle of old glass as well. The base is solid bronze and very well done with a nice greenish finish, matching Bryant sockets (with their original porcelain interiors and satellite ended pull chains, and matching original cap. It really doesn't get much better than this in a 1900's era lamp! The lamp has been wired with period style gold cloth braided cord and comes ready to use and enjoy. I am selling this wonderful floral lamp, believed to be Gorham, with and it will sell to the high buyer on 1/20. Successful buyer to pay $60 shipping/insurance on this item. NYS residents without a valid resale number will also have to add 8.25% sales tax.
