This is a signed hand painted portrait on porcelain. Burgundy velvet under the frame. Gold bronze frame. See pictures for size and overall quality. Great shape for the age.
Note taped to back or frame states this is Louise Francoise de LaBaume LeBlanc de La Valliere 1644-1710. A french beauty that was a favorite of Louis XiV. See photo for rest of detailed story.

Back of frame is in not great shape due to the taping of the story and some of the brown paper is peeling off in the corners. Overall, the painting appears to be detailed and in great shape.
