Antique BRASS CAPSTAN CANDLESTICK, SPANISH, c. Late 16th - 17th Century Excellent Condition - No Repairs This is a rare antique brass candlestick, often refered to as a "capstan" form and probably Spanish in origin and from the late 16th to early 17th centuries. Candlestick is 4 1/2" high with a 5" diameter flared bell shaped base, and it has two square ejection windows on the short candle socket. Condition is original and excellent with no damage and no repairs of any kind. This was found in a western consignment store fresh from an estate.
