Offered here for your consideration is an antique Boston & Sandwich glass green punty cut to clear overlay string holder. It dates from the mid to late 19th century.
The punty is in overall good used estate condition with some fritting at the foot rim and edges of the punty windows and some open bubbles from annealing. Otherwise, there are light surface scratches and scuffing here and there and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
Thereis an old enamel painted collection number in the interior ofthefoot rim.Measurements:Height: ca. 5 1/8 in.Diameter: ca. 4 3/4 in.
