I believe I have this one identified correctly but look at the pics and come to your own conclusion…This appears to be a Boston Sandwich oil lamp, it is very old and came from an estate in the Hamptons (East Hampton, NY..Long Island)
It stand 16.5 +/- inches tall and has a great patina with no visible defects other than a few scuffs and bumps from being 150 years old;)…The brass connector is very ornate and i was unable to find anything like it while doing a little research on these lamps…so quite rare i would imagine...the 2 tier marble base has a few small dings, and the gold paint applied to the red glass connecting? stalk has worn away a little bit here and there…Thanks for looking and good luck…winning buyer pays fixed shipping of $25 in the continental USA.
