Antique Austrian Silver Gilt and Enamel Box with Landscape

Click on the thumbnails to view more photos Austrian box in silver gilt and enamel with landscape. Rectangular with hinged cover and scalloped tab. Sides are yellow with engine-turned wave pattern. Box underside has gilt engine-turned geometric ornament. On cover a landscape with distant figures including two standing on a bridge spanning a creek. In the distance are hills. The scene is bordered by tooled gilt ornament on white ground. Box and cover interior gilt. Hallmark includes sterling silver and 935. Excellent condition.
