Offered is this wonderful antique 19th-century bronze doreormolu small jewelry casket or trinket box. Circa 1870-1890. Has a stunning detailedminiature painting probably done on celluloid and protected with a curved glass cover. I took my loupe and you canseethe very fine brush strokes. Overall condition is excellentwith no damage or wear. Hinge, clasp, and lid all line up nicely with norepairs. Stamped Germany on the bottom. Measures about 5\" long by 3 7/8\" wide and is about 3/4\" thick orhigh. See pictures for further description.
