Up forsale is a Antique Brass Steam Whistle, Locomotive, Steamboat? Maybe Buckeye??

• 1 5/8\" diameter brass steam whistle.

• There is a makers’ mark of “B”. I don’t know but might be Buckeye? It is also marked 3/8”.

• There is also a part # of 16040 marked on thebottom portion.

• It is also marked with “150 WSP and 300 WOC”.

• Whistle is in great shape with excellentpatina. Good condition withno majorbreaks, just a few minor dings and dents.

• Bell is 4\"tall.

• Whistle stands approximately 10.25\" talloverall.

• Valve works great.Whistle has been tested under compression and works fine.

• The handle is missing as well as a nut or fittingon the end of the rod that engages the whistle.

I did notattempt to clean the whistle as I will allow the buyer to cleanto their personal specifications. Thisis a neat old time steam whistle that could be working with just a little work!
