This beautiful Museum Quality bracelet was made during the end of theGeorgianPeriod and the start of the Victorian Period.

The Georgian Period and Victorian Periods were named as such due to the British Monarchs who ruled during this time period, George for Georgian and Victoria for Victorian. That\'s right, the same George that the Americans fought during the AmericanRevolution.

This amazing bracelet features hand Carved natural Un-dyed Salmon Coral. The stems and frame of the bracelet is made out of solid 14k Yellow Gold.

The bracelet features a type of stone called Salmon Coral. Salmon Coral is by far the most rare of all Coral types and easily the most expensive today as it was when this bracelet was made. This is due to both it\'s rarity and difficulty in obtaining. Sailors around C. 1810 would use ships with sails to go out to depths of 500 meters, where this form of coral grows. These ships would drag giant rakes playing a wheres Waldo game on trying with luck to obtain this coral.

These rakes would get stuck on underwater Topography and sink ships, storms were also a big worry and sunk many ships trying to obtain this very rare coral. That being said, the difficulty and rarity of finding Salmon Coral shot it\'s price up. Only the richest of the rich could afford to have the coral shipped to Europe or America.

The customer would then find the best carver around to completely hand carve this coral. Coral is a very difficult object to carve and carvers have to be exactly precise. That being said, the best carvers or stone cutters would take upwards of a year to create something as detailed as this bracelet.

The Coral would then be sent to the jeweler/goldsmith who would completely hand fabricate the frame and setting to exactly match the beautiful carvings from the stone cutter. Theconjunctionbetween all parties involved had to be exact for the piece to look the way it does.

With all the workmanship and the rarity of the coral, very limited amounts of carved coral jewelry were ever made, and even fewer have survived 200 years later until today.

This bracelet features the most intricate carved coral i have ever seen in a bracelet in my lifetime. There are floral Tulips mixed in as well as un-bloomed tulips and floral foliage mixed within the whole of the bracelet. Every part of this amazing bracelet features gorgeous hand carved coral throughout.

The bracelet is a Hinged Bangle Bracelet, so it does open up. The bracelet opens up by pushing a carved Salmon Coral closed Tulip along the top of the bracelet. This acts as a Push lever and releases the push clasp, very intricate and ornate. We will label this for you so you know where to find it. The inside wearable circumference measures 7\". Other measurements can be found in the box below.

This is a museum quality piece guys, a once in a lifetime piece. Bracelets like this never come out of private collectors hands, or they end up in Jewelry Museums. Please don\'t hesitate to offer on this beautiful work of art!

*Due to the age of some of these pieces some items will not be stamped. The National Stamping Act was not enacted until 1906, before 1906 jewelry was not legally required to have a karat mark. This is one way to date items prior to the Art Nouveau time period.

XRF-Spectrometer Gun:All of our jewelry is verified and guaranteed though an x-ray florescent-spectrometer test. This test conducts and determines the exact alloy content within the metal without damaging the piece like scratch and acid testing. Please be aware if you take an item to be tested by a jeweler, jewelers use scratch testing and electronic testing. These methods are only accurate 50% of the time, these are cheap, ineffective, and damaging ways to test to gold purity of an item. The XRF requires specialized training in order to correctly read the results. This is a $25,000 piece of equipment and is extremely accurate. Rest assured that what you are receiving is 100% accurate.

Returns:No questions asked, no hassle, 14 days money back, buyer pays return shipping. Item(s) must be sent back in original condition. We are happy to assist your return postage if we made a gross error. If you plan to take your item to a jeweler please visit one with a specialized field in estate jewelry. Most jewelry stores work with new/modern designs and on rare occasion are asked about vintage items. Chain jewelers are NOT a reliable source to date a piece of jewelry unless they are specialized with estate items. Aumia sees more antique and vintage jewelry pieces in one day than the average jeweler sees in years. Please take your time to find a qualified, and reputable antique dealer if you would like a second opinion.

Payment:PayPal only. Payment must be received by the 3rdday of the closing sale date. Buyers with unpaid item cases will be blocked from future transactions with us. We are happy to accommodate extra time if needed; however, the buyer is required to ask of this prior to offerding. If payment is made on a Friday, the package will be mailed out the following Monday.

International Buyers:USPS Priority mail insured. Shipped from the Global shipping program or through Aumia with selected countries only. We do not undervalue items or mark them as “gifts.” Buyers responsibility to know import custom duties/taxes. These are not included with the shipping price.

About us: Chris and Alexis. We started out in the jewelry business knowing individuals who were in the smelting business. As we watched these smelters melting new, vintage, & antique 100+ year old jewelry for the metal value, we cringed!! We thought that there must be a way to save this special and once in a lifetime type of jewelry instead of melting these wonderful items.Well....the bright idea of selling these beautiful items smacked us in the face!We started buying small items such as rings, bracelets and necklaces from these smelters and selling these items to wonderful people who would appreciate them and cherish them for a lifetime.

After starting out small time, we started to go to Antique shops, estate sales, estate buy outs, smelters, sales, coin shows, or just about anywhere possible we could get our hands on these wonderful and beautiful jewelry items! We started to set up at trade shows and other events to sell to people. We eventually phased out the trade show atmosphere and started selling jewelry on ! I\'m glad we did, you can get just as much interaction with people over the internet as you can face to face. We love all of our customers and love the quick messages anybody likes to send our way! After starting to sell jewelry on we started our business called Aumia Gold & Silver Jewelry And Collectibles LLC, \"Aumia\" Is Golden Lady in Latin. We try to offer a variety of jewelry from Rings, Necklaces, Pendants, Brooch\'s, Gold & Silver. We also offer Native American Jewelry, Art Deco Jewelry, Victorian Jewelry, Antique Chinese Jewelry and so much more! We try to post a mix of each variety every week.

We found our niche! The success on has made this into our full time job. Because of our great loyal customers and new ones every day you are helping us provide our future and the large contributions we donate to our Rotary club to help eradicate polio and create women empowerment projects in Nepal. We both heavily believe in helping others and creating wonderful new opportunities internationally and domestically. Aumia has provided us our future and love towards our passion. We can’t see ourselves doing anything else. It is something new every day. We treat people with theutmostrespect and customer service is our main priority. There are always goofy stories about us but too much for an listing. We hope we have given you some insight to who we are and our passion for this industry. Check our page for more fun information!
