On the front and the back of the tin humidor it says Always Fresh Chew Mail Pouch Tobacco in cream white and mustard yellow on a black background. The front side opends by pulling down to reveal a piece that slides in and out which kept the tobacco fresh. There is print on the inside lid that says:

Observing the following directions:

Keep the absorbant material in the perforated pad

well saturatedwith as much water as it will absorb as

often as necessary to keep in moist condition.

Be sure to see that the pad is wiped dry when

replacing inthehumidor and that the perforated side

is upward as to avoid anydrip on the tobacco.

Should the tobacco at times become more moist

than is desirable remove the pad temporarily.

DURING SUMMER MONTHS

It will not be necessary to use any water in the

humidor as the natural humidity in the air will impart

sufficient moisture to the tobacco.

This is the most wonderful antique General Store tobacco advertising counter top display from the Turn of the Century.

Condition is very good. There is some paint loss on the back and some other very minor areas of paint loss and scratch, which does not detract from the piece. The door opens and closes tightly and securely.
