ITEM FEATURES: Guaranteed old. I am pleased to offer a very rare celluloid advertising watch fob which was issued by the Gold Dust Washing Powder company in 1900. Pictured on both sides of this celluloid disk are the famous Black "Gold Dust Twins" in a washtub of soap studs. It has a what looks like brass frame with a tiny loop at the top for fastening to a watch fob or necklace. The disk hangs freely and "spins" when tapped on. Evidently, the piece was also issued in a plain pinback version but this spinning watchfob is a much rarer piece. The image is identical on both sides and both sides are in good condition. This would be an wonderful addition to any collection of Black Memorabilia, Advertising Memorabilia or to any collection of fine old turn of the century watchfobs.
