The Celluloid over curved wood box looks like fine hand tooled leather with lilies, shields and trim, Victorian sepia tone lady on the top, has ornate stamped brass clasp and hinges.Bottom is covered with pale green ivy pattern paper. Inside is silk lined.
MEASUREMENTS: The box is 13 5/8 inches long by 5 1/4 inches deep and 3 1/8 inches high.
CONDITION: VERY GOOD condition for its age. Top has a few light marks on the surface. Tiny chip on back right corner. No other splits or breaks in the celluloid or wood. Inside the box the silk lining is frayed/shredded and has age spots. The paper covered bottom is worn and has stains. No other issues found. Please examine the photos as they are part of the description.
