Let me first say: I love this set. I bought it about a year ago. Unfortunately it begun to fade after the first wash and by the 4th or 5th wash, the seams started to come apart. Crazy as it sounds, I almost bought it again today. I find it THAT pretty when it's new. If you don't mind a disposable quilt, or if you are going to use in a spare room, you will not be disappointed ;)

I was disappointed in the look of this quilt upon arrival. It does not have an "antique chic" look but is rather average to cheap looking.

I had actually seen this same quilt set on another web site a few years ago. I loved the colors and how it looked. It was just too much money for me at the time. I would even check on it from time to time. Still liked it, but not ready to pay the price. When I found it on Overstock.com ... I was so excited .. The price was more than 50% less. It was such a great deal I bought the King Size. It was perfect for a Queen bed with a bed frame that is a bit tall. It arrived in just a few days. It washed up beautifully and soft. It is so light, yet keeps us warm on even the coldest of nights .. For California that is. I was perfect on warmer nights as well. I just love it!
